The Red Cafe in Grahamstown

If there is any restaurant you should try when in Grahamstown, South Africa it is the Red Cafe. I myself finally got to try it On Saturday with one of my friends. The weather was perfect for it and we chose to sit at the balcony which overlooks the city of Grahamstown. Lately our way of eating as humans has shifted its focus from meat to fresh fruits and vegetables and the Red Cafe is all about that. As, vegetarians all we can eat in most restaurants is a salad, burger or sandwich  however we found ourselves changing our minds about what to order a couple of times as everything sounded amazing. And their service is impressive; one of the waiters asked the dog owners sitting behind us, if they would like a water bowl for their dog.

She decided to get the hummus wrap with feta cheese and tomato served with chips and a salad. I ordered the Mediterranean tramazzinis which have cheese, sun-dried tomatoes and pesto and are served with a salad. For drinks we had their home-made lemonade and some berry-flavoured ice tea.

Despite being full, we had to have dessert. So we decided to share a chocolate brownie with ice-cream.
